02 / Engineering perspective

A specification built around the work.

Energy Storage Batteries selection starts with the equipment. Use electrical, mechanical and operating requirements to create a clearer supplier conversation.

Build a load schedule

Separate average energy demand from peak power and include conversion losses in the system review.

Check electrical integration

Confirm inverter or charger compatibility, voltage limits, communication and protection requirements.

Document installation conditions

Review mounting, ventilation, isolation, cable protection and local installation requirements with qualified professionals.

03 / Application planning

See the system around the battery.

Each application needs its own integration review. A similar voltage or physical format does not establish compatibility.

Solar-linked storage

Review inverter compatibility, charging behavior and installation conditions with the system integrator.

APPLICATION CASE FILES / SYSTEM-LEVEL ENERGY PLANNING

See the decisions behind an application.

Explore practical planning briefs for energy storage batteries: the operating challenge, integration approach and sample-review questions.

These are application planning examples, not documented customer deployments. Factory photographs are from the Jetray corporate website and do not identify a customer project.

05 / Questions, answered

Before you specify.

Keep the important decisions visible.

How much storage capacity do I need?

Start with the critical-load energy requirement and required backup duration. System losses, usable operating window and environmental conditions affect the final selection.

Will a battery work with my inverter?

Compatibility is model-specific. Provide inverter brand, model, firmware, battery voltage range and supported communication details for review.

Does a rack-shaped product guarantee rack compatibility?

No. Confirm dimensions, mounting, clearances, connectors, cable routing and the rack's mechanical requirements against a drawing.

How do I size backup storage from a critical load schedule?

List critical-load power and operating duration, then review peak demand, conversion losses and the usable battery window with the system integrator. Catalogue energy alone does not establish backup duration.

Will a storage battery communicate with my existing inverter?

Compatibility depends on the exact battery, inverter, firmware and protocol configuration. Share the models, voltage limits and communication details, and request a supported integration assessment.

What information is needed for a rack battery installation review?

Provide the exact battery model, rack and mounting drawing, available clearances, cable routing, weight constraints and installation environment. Review protection and service access with the system integrator.
